How to do it

  1. Pick Executive Overview from the View list at the top of the dashboard.

Any admin can pick it. It shows six numbers. Total Open Tickets and Ticket Aging come first. Then a chart of tickets closed in the last 7 days. Then Tech Utilization, Project Revenue Pipeline and A/R Balance. The last two need billing access. Without it, the tile says so instead of a zero. You can add, remove, resize or reorder the widgets.

  2. Open Your dashboard and add the alert widgets.

It is the folded part of your dashboard. Use its picker to add a widget. The three are Operations, Security and Billing Alerts. They cover late tickets, sync errors, overdue bills and ending contracts. Set the rules in Settings. Then go to System and Alerts & Notifications.

  3. Find the blocked updates line.

It can say N devices have updates blocked by endpoint security. The security tool refuses the agent's scripts on those devices. Its second line, Review in RMM > Alerts, opens the list. Allow the agent's run folder in the security tool. The count then falls by itself.

  4. Read the MRR Change, Last 7 Days tile.

It compares your recurring revenue today with 7 days ago. A new tile has no history yet. It shows how many days it has recorded until it reaches 7. Then it shows the change as an amount and a percent, with a small trend line. Green means revenue went up. Amber means it went down. Each currency gets its own line. It shows only if you can see billing numbers.

  5. Open What's new to read about updates.

It shows once, the next time you sign in after an update. Close it with Got it, the X or Escape. To read it again, open your account menu at the top right and choose What's new.

  6. To get support, open a ticket from My Bill.

If you cannot open My Bill, use the GoTenix portal. Sign in with the same Microsoft or Google work account. Choose Get Support from the New menu.

What you will have

  • See your key numbers on one page, in the Executive Overview view.
  • Add the three alert widgets.
  • Read the MRR Change, Last 7 Days tile.
  • Find What's new and how to get support.

Why it works this way: How to read your dashboard and add its alert widgets

A change to your dashboard only changes your own view. It does not change what other admins see.

The alert widgets are not shown by default. You add the ones you want.

If it did not work: How to read your dashboard and add its alert widgets

  • Some action buttons are grey: the server would refuse them for you. Running an action needs the right to edit the dashboard, and the right for the record it changes.
  • To clear or flag triage you need the right to edit tickets. You need it to escalate a ticket too.
  • Assigning, dispatching, or sending a pick back to triage needs the right to reassign tickets. Ask an admin to change your permission group.
  • The Add a payment method window shows first at sign-in. What's new then waits for your next sign-in.
  • The Operations Alerts widget is not shown until you add it. So the blocked updates line is not there either.
