What you can do with Reports
Build a report in one sentence or ask Elise for it, save it, email it as a CSV on a schedule, and pin it to your dashboard, with CSAT Responses and RMM Health built in.
Reports subnavigation
Saved Reports, Report Builder, CSAT Responses and RMM Health are the four pages under Reports. The nav item opens straight to Saved Reports.
New report
Jumps straight to the Report Builder with a blank sentence. This is the same builder the Report Builder page's own New report button opens.
Saved report cards
Each card names the report, a tag for its data source, who built it and when. Reports you saved sit next to reports shared with your team, such as the Microsoft 365 seat reports built by System. The menu on each card holds Edit, Duplicate, Pin to Dashboard and Delete, depending on what you are allowed to do. Pin to Dashboard adds the report's chart to your dashboard.

Why it works this way: What you can do with Reports
You do not have to build it yourself. Say "Show me the reports we have saved" and Elise lists them. Say "How many tickets did we get by status over the last 30 days?" and she runs the report on your data and gives you the numbers. Neither changes your data, and both need access to reports.
Elise can run the same kind of report on time entries and invoices as well as tickets, so ask her to add up whichever you need.
For a written-up answer, ask for "SLA attainment for the last 90 days", "Who are our unhappy CSAT clients this quarter?" or "How healthy is the fleet this month?". For SLA and CSAT the portal computes the numbers and Elise only writes them up. Fleet health is the portal's own numbers with no AI step. SLA attainment covers first-response and resolution rates overall, by month and by priority, plus the clients with the most misses. CSAT covers the average and trend, a tech leaderboard, low scores with the client and comment, and themes from the comments. SLA and CSAT take a window of 7 to 365 days. Fleet health reads the same numbers as the RMM Health page, for 7, 30 or 90 days or a custom range, and is available on an MSP instance.
To get the data out, ask Elise for "a CSV of our invoices" or "Bluebird Dental's tickets as a CSV". She hands you a download link for tickets, invoices, estimates, clients, users, CSAT, devices and more, for the whole business or scoped to one client. The link checks your own access when you click it, so it never shows more than you may see.
To change things, say "Save that as a bar chart called Weekly tickets by status" and Elise saves it under Saved Reports straight away unless your admin asks for approval. Say "Rename that report and change it to the last 90 days" and she updates it. Deleting is held back: "Delete the old weekly tickets report" is filed for someone who holds the permission to delete reports to release.
CSAT Responses lists each customer rating with Rating, Ticket, Comment, Client, Tech and Rated columns. Pick Last 7, 30, 90 or 365 days. A rating keeps the scale that was in effect when the customer gave it, so an older 4 out of 5 is never redrawn as 4 out of 10 after the scale changes.
RMM Health shows Devices, Offline, Uptime, Patch compliance and Open alerts as stat tiles, then a row per client with pending reboots, alert tickets, agent versions and auto-remediation. Filter by Period and Client, and Export CSV. Uptime measures agent heartbeat, not operating-system uptime, and a dash means nothing could be measured, which is not the same as zero. The What each number counted footer spells out each count.
Picking a Report Builder template only fills in the sentence. Saving always creates a new report of your own, and the template itself is never changed.
The Report Builder turns a report into one sentence, Show me Tickets as Ticket Count by Status over Last 30 Days showing All. Start from a template with Browse, or pick the data, the metric, the grouping and the date range yourself. Choose Bar, Line, Area or Pie, which changes only how the same data draws. Sentence view and Panel view are two toggles for the same choices, and Ask Elise on the card opens a chat to help you create the report.
Save Report asks for a name and an optional description, pre-filled from a template. Visible to whole team is off by default, so only you see it until you turn it on, and Save adds it to Saved Reports.
Open a saved report to change its Date Range without changing the range saved on the report, switch between Chart and Table, download a CSV, Refresh, or Edit it in the builder. Duplicate, Pin to Dashboard and Delete are in its menu, depending on what you are allowed to do. Below the chart the Schedule card emails the report as a CSV every day, week or month. See How to email a report to your team or clients on a schedule.
Questions this page answers
What is the Saved Reports page for?
It holds every report you have saved, plus the ones your team shares. Each card names the report, its data, and who built it. Click the name to open it.
How do I make a new report?
Open Report Builder. It sits in the left menu, under Reports. If you are allowed to create reports, this page also shows a New report button on the title line. Either one opens the builder. Pick your data, your chart, and your dates. Then press Save.
What can I do to a card without opening it?
Press Actions on the card. Edit opens it in the Report Builder. Duplicate makes your own copy. Pin to Dashboard puts its chart on your dashboard. Delete removes it. Edit and Duplicate show only if you may change reports.
Can I start from something instead of a blank page?
Yes. Open Start from a Template and press Browse. Pick one and the builder fills in for you. You then change anything you like. Saving makes your own report. The template is not touched.
What is the Report Builder for?
It builds one report out of your own data. It opens as a sentence that starts with Show me. Press any part of the sentence to change it. Panel view lays out the same choices as boxes named Data Source, X-Axis and Y-Axis (Metric). Preview draws the report while you work. Nothing is kept until you save it.
Can I build my own report?
Yes. Open the report builder. Pick a chart type: bar, line, area or pie. Pick a data source: tickets, time, invoices, devices, CSAT, evaluations or clients. Then set the x-axis, the y-axis, a group-by, a date range and any filters. Save it for yourself, or share it with the org. A saved report can be pinned to your dashboard, just like the canned ones.
How do I save a report, and where does it go?
Press Save Report. Type a Report Name. Add a Description if you want one. Turn on Visible to whole team to share it. Press Save. A line then appears with the report name on it, and it is a link to the saved report. It is also on Saved Reports.
How do I change the dates without changing the report?
Use Date Range at the top of the card. The report runs again on the range you pick, and the web address changes with it, so you can send that link. Reset to saved puts the report back on its own range.
How do I see the rows behind a bar, or get the numbers out?
Press Table to see the rows. Click a bar or a slice to see only the rows behind it, then Clear drill-down to go back. CSV downloads every row that matches, not only the page you can see. The file name carries the range, and the header row says the unit, so money is never mistaken for a count.
What is on the CSAT Responses page?
One row per customer rating in the selected window: the score, the comment they left, the ticket it came from, the client, and the tech credited for the ticket. Use the window selector to widen or narrow the period, click a ticket to open it, or use Export to pull the same rows to CSV.
What does the RMM Health report show?
One row per client, for the days you pick. It counts their Devices, how many are Offline, their Uptime, their Patch compliance, and their Open alerts. It is a picture of a window of time, not of this minute.
What exactly is each number counting?
Open What each number counted at the foot of the page. Every column is spelled out there. Uptime is agent heartbeat, not machine uptime. A dash means nothing could be measured, which is not the same as zero.
How do I change the window, or take the numbers away with me?
Use Period at the top. Pick Custom range to set your own From and To. Days are your company days, and the line under the title says which days and which clock. Export CSV gives you the same rows you see, with a column that names each one.
What is the Alerts Desk?
One place to look at every open alert we raise, across every client and every monitored domain. It does not replace the pages where alerts live: device alerts still belong to the device, CyberSentry alerts to Triage, expirations to the client's documentation. The desk is a reading surface over all of them, so a tech has one list to scan instead of four pages to remember.
