How to do it

  1. Start with the pattern.

Read actions run at once. Safe Writes run on her own. Sensitive Writes show a Confirm card. Destructive actions never run from chat. Elise files them in Review > Gated Actions, and a second person releases them.

  2. Check clients and people.

She can look up a client's overview, tickets, invoices, quotes, hours and health. It needs Clients: view. Creating a client or changing its name, phone, main contact or status is Sensitive. Inactive also cancels live subscriptions. Giving someone portal access or a new role is Sensitive. She will not add staff, or an email from another client. Deleting a client is Destructive. So is removing a person's extra access.

  3. Check files and devices.

She adds or edits documents, folders, assets and dates on her own. Documents need Documentation: create or edit. The others need Clients: edit. A deleted document or asset is archived. A deleted date or folder is gone. She adds or edits a device, domain, network or IP on her own. Pushing an app or assigning an RMM policy is Sensitive. Deleting a device is Destructive. Its open alerts go with it.

  4. Check billing and meetings.

She looks up invoices, quotes and plans at once. Creating or sending a quote or invoice, and changing a client's plan, are Sensitive. Voiding an invoice is Destructive. So is deleting one. So is cancelling a subscription or turning off a plan. She can create and update a meeting. A meeting she creates starts as a draft, and she cannot delete one.

  5. Check settings and rules.

She can list and open vault entries, but she never shows, sends or changes a password. Adding or editing an entry is Sensitive. Deleting an entry is Destructive. Changing a setting is Sensitive. So is inviting a portal user, or resetting a team member's MFA. She will not reset your own MFA. To build a rule, she opens the rule editor with your words in it. It starts off, in Monitor mode. A person turns it on in Automations.

  6. To change her limits, open Settings.

Privacy & Redaction hides some data from her. Actions & Automation sets which acts need a yes. A destructive act always needs a second person. She never reads secrets. She never reads user accounts, audit logs or role settings.

What you will have

  • Know which client actions Elise runs on her own.
  • Know which ones need your Confirm.
  • Know which ones a second person must release.
  • See who sets her limits.

Why it works this way: How to see what Elise can change for a client

Elise follows your own permissions. She can only do what you may do.

Admins set her limits. One limit is what she can read. One is which actions need a yes.

If it did not work: How to see what Elise can change for a client

  • Elise shows fewer workflows than you expect: she leaves out drafts and inactive ones, and says how many. Ask for drafts and she adds them. Inactive ones stay out.
  • A destructive action never gets a Confirm card. Look in Review > Gated Actions.
  • Elise says she lacks a permission: she names it, such as Clients: edit. Ask an admin to grant it.

Questions this page answers

Can Elise delete a client or a device?

Not from chat. Delete is Destructive, so it goes to Review > Gated Actions, and a second person releases it.

Can Elise read my vault passwords?

No. She never shows or changes a password. Adding or editing an entry waits for your Confirm.

How do I limit what Elise can read or do?

Open Settings, then AI Assistant. One page limits what she reads. One sets which actions need a yes.
